The Magnolia x Butterflies is a hybrid variety between the M. acuminata and M. denudata. It is a fragrant lemon-scented, tulip-shaped, double-petal flower that grows in an upright pyramidal path that will fit nicely into the city or smaller places. It is a late double bloomer and is resistant to frost, cold, and heat, putting on a beautiful show mid to late spring. They love full sun to part shade, well-drained soil, and are loved by pollinators. When the bloom opens it resembles a butterfly and can also be cut and brought indoors for a beautiful bouquet.
