Densely packed (Common Name: Blue Oat Grass), the blades have fountain-like color to the border and grows in a clumping shape. In early midsummer the flowering stems grow with perfect straw-colored spikelets. Sempervirens blooms are most abundant in cooler climates and are perfect for hillsides, containers, or coastal areas. Sempervirens is also deer and rabbit resistant, salt and drought tolerant, prefers full-sun and dry, well-drained soil.
