Densely packed (Common Name: Blue Oat Grass), the blades have fountain-like color to the border and grows in a clumping shape. In summertime the flowering stems grow with perfect tan flower spikelet's. Sapphire blooms are most abundant in cooler climates and are perfect for hillsides, containers, or coastal areas. Sapphire is also deer resistant, resistant to rust, prefers full-sun and well-drained soil, and containers.
