The Homebush Azalea is a deciduous upright and twiggy growing shrub that is extremely hardy. The semi-double, pink ball trusses showcase showy pink blooms that look like pom poms in May-June. The shrub prefers filtered sun, moist well-drained, acidic soil, with bi-weekly watering. It is great as an accent, for beds and borders, in a container or as a large group planting.
